The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has married model Gabbriette Bechtel in a private wedding ceremony held in Los Angeles. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday at Castillo del Lago, a historic Spanish Colonial-style mansion in the Hollywood Hills that was once owned by Madonna.

Healy, 37, wore a classic black tuxedo for the ceremony, while Bechtel, 28, walked down the aisle in a traditional white wedding gown. Close family members, friends, and several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry attended the celebration.

Among the guests were singer Charli XCX and her husband George Daniel, who is also a member of The 1975. Other attendees included several models, social media personalities, and celebrities from the fashion and entertainment worlds.

Ahead of the wedding, Healy celebrated his bachelor party in Malibu, where he was seen performing with 9075, a tribute band inspired by The 1975. Bechtel also marked the occasion with a bachelorette getaway to Las Vegas alongside friends.

The couple began dating in September 2023 and made their relationship public soon afterwards. Their engagement was confirmed in June 2024 by Healy’s mother, actress Denise Welch. Since then, the pair have frequently appeared together at public events and on social media.

Before his relationship with Bechtel, Healy briefly dated global pop star Taylor Swift in 2023 following her split from actor Joe Alwyn. Their relationship lasted only a few weeks before they parted ways. The pair had also been linked romantically in 2014, although Healy later dismissed those reports as inaccurate.

Taylor Swift has since moved on and is now married to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
