Terrorism case registered against 31 Tandojam university students

A terrorism case has been registered against 31 students of Agriculture University Tandojam following an incident reported at the university on August 16.

According to police officials, the students allegedly gathered on the university premises and raised anti-state slogans, creating an atmosphere of fear and unrest. Police said the case was registered after the incident was reported to the authorities.

The FIR was lodged on the complaint of a sub-inspector. Six students have been specifically named in the case, while 25 others have been listed as unidentified. Police have not made any arrests so far.

According to the contents of the FIR, the students allegedly assembled while carrying sticks, stones and metal rods. They are accused of raising anti-state slogans and causing fear and panic on the university premises.

Police officials said the allegations are being investigated and further action will be taken in accordance with the law. The identities and roles of the unidentified students will also be determined as part of the investigation.
