Tom Cruise celebrates Digger release amid royal attention

Hollywood star Tom Cruise has announced the theatrical release of his latest film Digger as speculation continues over his growing public friendship with Britain’s Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton.

Cruise recently attracted attention after attending the London premiere of Digger, where he was seen interacting warmly with Kate and Prince William. During the event, the actor held Kate’s hand and helped her down a set of steps, a moment that quickly drew attention from royal watchers.

The Top Gun: Maverick star has also spoken warmly about the royal couple, describing Kate and William as “amazing people”. His friendly exchanges with the Princess of Wales have since generated discussion about the pair’s relationship.

According to claims attributed to royal insiders, however, the Palace is not concerned that Cruise could become romantically involved with Kate. Instead, the alleged concern relates to his association with Scientology and whether the organisation could gain any influence around senior members of the royal family.

One reported Palace source claimed that there was no concern about Kate and Cruise running off together. The source instead suggested that officials would be more concerned about Scientology having any connection with the future King and Queen.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace has publicly confirmed such concerns. Cruise has also not addressed the claims surrounding his relationship with the royal couple.

Amid the speculation, Cruise shifted attention back to his professional work. The actor took to Instagram to announce that Digger had officially arrived in cinemas.

Sharing several images linked to the film, Cruise expressed gratitude to the cast and crew for their work. He praised the team’s dedication and said the experience of making the project had been unforgettable.

Cruise also said he was proud of the finished film and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside talented artists.

The announcement received an enthusiastic response from fans, with some predicting that Digger could become one of the year’s biggest films.

Cruise’s latest update comes as his public appearance with Kate and William continues to attract interest. Despite the speculation, the actor has kept his focus on promoting his new movie and celebrating its cinema release.
