According to police officials, the explosion occurred in Killi Jadeed Mian Khan in the Kachi Baig area. The children were playing in a vacant plot when they found an object that reportedly resembled a toy.

Police said the children began playing with the object before it suddenly exploded with a powerful blast. The explosion killed two children on the spot, while a third child suffered injuries.

Rescue teams and police personnel rushed to the scene soon after the blast. The bodies of the deceased children and the injured child were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and legal procedures.

Police have cordoned off the area and started collecting evidence from the blast site. Investigators are examining the nature of the explosive device and trying to determine how it ended up in the vacant plot.
