Imagine having a whole department of economists sitting in your council at your service leading you to set out the aims of trade which will impact the hundreds of millions of civilians in your country, yet somehow creating an unwanted calamity. Trump since early 2025 has numerous times exclaimed his desires on making Canada the 51st state of the USA. The genuine state of global order can never allow this to take place. The rapidly increasing demands of the Trump administration to take control on whom Canada trades with are taken with great offense by not only the Canadian politicians but Canada as a whole.
Since the Trump administration cannot seek out their colonial tactics in the 21st century, they have committed the one act they are always bound to, which is throwing unnecessary tariffs on some of the most influential and crucial industries. Now even a high school student with minimum knowledge will be able to determine how harmful tariffs are to the individuals of both the countries involved. Their overall financial stability crashes and inflation follows. These tariffs are currently being targeted at the automobile industry which is undeniably appalling, not only to Canada but the USA as well.
The auto industry is not something to be dealt with casually. The whole car is not manufactured in one single factory. Individual parts are built in factories across major States of both the USA and Canada and some even in Mexico traveling back and forth the borders. Thus the production process gets disrupted and the factories are forced to close down in extreme casualties. Americans now have to pay higher prices because of the tariffs imposed by their own presidents with prices having the potential threat of skyrocketing up to fifty percent and more.
Canada has been resilient in this situation, uniting both the opposing parties to support each other and Canadians rallying behind their president Mark Carney. The American flag that the Americans hold so much pride in is being looked down upon in Canadian stadiums demonstrating the growing constraint between the two. A recent poll in August showed that 79 percent of Canadians collectively blame Trump for the current crisis.
Mark Carney has very effectively used this growing divide in the USA as a tool to strengthen his own political claim, calling for all the medium power nations to start opposing the demands of nations. This is obviously proving damaging to an already built system since the USA Canada trade is larger than the USA China trade. Even companies have started issuing statements on how this deterioration will be detrimental and could eventually lead to the closure of such strategic industries. Thousands of jobs will be lost in both the nations just because one man was entrusted with the decision affecting millions.
Republicans will now have a 2028 problem when the democrats with all their wrath present these proofs of economic failures in front of the voters along with all the other catastrophes the Trump administration caused and will soon cause in the remaining of their term. This is just the beginning of a devastating end and will greatly affect the decades to come and permanently change the dynamics of North America which were set since the last 60 years or so. The next administration will be witnessed spending their 4 years in office recovering and apologizing on behalf of the actions currently being endorsed by Trump and his officials.
