In a statement posted on X, Ramirez said US military actions were harming innocent women and children in conflict zones, including Iran and Palestine.
She urged Congress to support the proposed “Block the Bombs Act”, arguing that lawmakers must reclaim their constitutional authority over decisions involving military action and work towards ending what she described as an endless cycle of war.
Ramirez also accused Congress of failing to adequately respond to alleged war crimes linked to President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
