Virat Kohli’s private London meeting leaks online

India star Virat Kohli found himself in the spotlight after photos from a private meeting in London were taken without his permission and later went viral on social media.

According to international media reports, Jordan Cox, Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammate and England batter, revealed that the two met at a London café last month where they had an in-depth discussion about cricket, handling pressure and Kohli’s career.

Cox said the meeting itself was uninterrupted but a few hours later Kohli messaged him asking, “Have you seen the photos from our meeting?” after the images had begun circulating online.

He added that Kohli prefers to keep his private life away from public attention and simply wants to enjoy time like anyone else but his immense popularity often makes that difficult.

Cox also praised Kohli’s character saying one of the most impressive things about playing alongside him is his willingness to mentor younger players.

According to Cox, while many senior cricketers focus mainly on their own performances, Kohli makes helping others a priority which sets him apart.

Since retiring from Test cricket and T20 Internationals, Kohli has maintained a relatively low public profile and spends much of his time in London with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children.
