Sehar Hashmi reveals truth behind ‘Zanjeerain’ controversy

Pakistani television actress Sehar Hashmi has addressed speculation surrounding her recent social media post linked to her drama serial Zanjeerain, clarifying that her comments were not aimed at any specific co-star.

Sehar discussed the matter during an appearance on a YouTube talk show hosted by Hassan Choudhary. The actress was asked about a post she shared regarding “cold behaviour” and later changed its caption, which led to discussions among fans about possible tensions on the drama set.

Responding to the question, Sehar explained that the post was related to the difficult shooting conditions rather than any personal issue with the cast. She said the weather was extremely cold during filming, making it challenging for the actors while recording intense scenes.

She added that the dark storyline of the drama also had an emotional impact on the cast, but overall her experience on the set was positive. Sehar said she developed a good working relationship with her co-stars, including Raza Talish, Anaya Khan, Sajal Aly, Danyal Khan, and Momal Sheikh.

The actress particularly praised her experience working with Sajal Aly, saying that Sajal appreciated her performance and even contacted her personally. Sehar expressed her desire to work with Sajal again in future projects.

Talking about her bond with other cast members, Sehar said she also enjoyed working with Danyal Khan, although their scenes became limited after a major twist in the drama’s storyline.

Sehar Hashmi is currently appearing in Zanjeerain and Shaidai, while she has previously worked in popular dramas including Zulm and Mann Mast Malang. She has gained attention for taking on challenging roles and portraying diverse characters on screen.
