Lahore: Residents and businesses in Lahore can now apply for new Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) residential and commercial water connections through e-Khidmat Centres, in a move aimed at making public services more accessible and convenient.
The new service, introduced through the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), enables citizens to submit applications for WASA water connections at both e-Khidmat Centres in Lahore, reducing paperwork and simplifying the application process.
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s ongoing efforts to improve public service delivery through digital governance and provide citizens with faster, more efficient access to essential government services.
Both e-Khidmat Centres are open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, allowing applicants greater flexibility to complete their applications.
Citizens seeking additional information about the service or other facilities available at e-Khidmat Centres can visit the official e-Khidmat website or contact the helpline at 1317 for assistance.
Speaking on the initiative, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the Punjab government is continuously expanding the range of services available through e-Khidmat Centres to provide modern, efficient, and citizen-friendly access to public services.
He added that the inclusion of WASA’s residential and commercial water connection service allows citizens to access more government services under one roof while minimizing the need to visit multiple government offices.
