England lead the three-match series 1-0 after securing a commanding innings and 103-run victory over Pakistan at Headingley. Pakistan will be looking to improve their performance and level the series at Lord’s.

Rain could play a role on the very first day of the match, with an 85% chance of precipitation forecast for the morning. Showers are expected early in the day, with cloudy conditions and occasional sunshine.

Rain is expected to continue throughout the day, with a 93% chance of precipitation forecast. There is only a 27% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 22°C, while cloudy conditions could persist for much of the day, despite some chances of sunny intervals.

The unsettled weather could create challenging conditions for batters while providing encouragement to the seam bowlers.

Pakistan will draw confidence from their recent Test record in London, having won their last three Tests against England in the capital.
