Zainab Raza recounts terrifying ride with drunk driver

Pakistani model and actress Zainab Raza has opened up about a terrifying car accident that left her shaken after she accepted a ride with three unfamiliar people. Known for her appearance on ARY Digital’s reality show Tamasha 2, Zainab has also appeared in dramas such as Takabbur, Paray Hatt Love, and Bharam.

In a recent Instagram post, Zainab recounted how a seemingly ordinary journey turned into a frightening experience when the woman driving the car was allegedly intoxicated. According to the actress, the driver was speeding, ignoring requests to slow down, and struggling to navigate the route while managing music and smoking.

Zainab revealed that she began feeling unsafe during the journey and contacted friends travelling in another car to express her concerns. The situation took a dangerous turn near the Native Jetty turn, where the driver made a sudden manoeuvre, causing the vehicle to lose control and roll over several times before eventually stopping near the footpath.

The actress credited her friend with helping her escape from the overturned vehicle. She expressed deep gratitude for his quick response and said she was thankful that both of them survived the frightening incident.

Zainab also described how the driver allegedly blamed her when confronted about the reckless driving. She stressed that passengers should never have to bear responsibility for someone else’s dangerous decisions behind the wheel.

Using her experience to raise awareness, Zainab urged people to avoid driving under the influence and reminded parents to ensure their children understand the seriousness of road safety. She emphasised the importance of accountability, responsible behaviour, and protecting the lives of everyone on the road.
