13-year-old Yu Zidi makes Asian Games history

Chinese swimming sensation Yu Zidi has created history at the Asian Games by winning three individual gold medals at just 13 years of age.

The teenage swimmer has produced a series of outstanding performances in the pool. She has competed against much older and highly experienced athletes while setting new records along the way.

Yu began her impressive campaign with victory in the women’s 200-metre butterfly. She finished the race in 2 minutes and 5.08 seconds. Her time set a new Asian Games record.
