Ahad Khan, husband of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan, has said that Aleema Khan and the former premier’s other sisters have never attended any PTI meetings.
Speaking to the media outside the Lahore High Court on Tuesday, Ahd Khan said Aleema Khan had never participated in a PTI meeting.
He said Imran Khan’s sisters, including Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan, had also never attended meetings of the party.
Ahad Khan said that whenever Aleema Khan spoke publicly, her statements were focused on Imran Khan and his situation.
He further claimed that Imran Khan remained imprisoned despite what he described as his continued illegal detention.
His remarks came amid ongoing political tensions surrounding the PTI founder and discussions over the party’s leadership and political activities. PTI leaders and Khan’s family members have repeatedly raised concerns about his continued imprisonment and access to him.
Ahad Khan’s comments appeared aimed at clarifying the role of Imran Khan’s sisters in PTI’s organisational and political affairs, particularly amid public discussion about their involvement in matters related to the party and its founder.
