Ahsan Khan bids farewell to Aap Ki Izzat

Actor Ahsan Khan has reflected on his experience working on the recently concluded drama Aap Ki Izzat, thanking the cast and crew for their efforts after the final episode aired.

Khan played the central character Tabish in the drama. Following the finale, he shared a message on social media praising the people who helped bring the project to television.

The actor said Aap Ki Izzat was more than just a television drama for him. He described it as an important phase of his career that challenged him, inspired him and opened the door to a new beginning.

Khan first thanked producers Momina Duraid and Nina Kashif for supporting the project. He said meaningful stories can encourage audiences to reflect on society and their own lives. He also expressed gratitude to Kashif for trusting him with the lead role.

He praised director Saife Hasan for his contribution to the project. Khan described him as an important part of the production and appreciated the experience of working with him.

The actor also dedicated special words to his co-star Urwa Hocane. Khan said her presence as his co-actor helped him deliver his best performance and allowed the character of Tabish to develop fully. He praised Hocane for her acting abilities and described her as a valued friend.

Khan also mentioned Sania Saeed with a touch of humour. He joked that she had finally played his mother on screen instead of his heroine.

The actor extended his appreciation to the entire cast and production team. He thanked the technicians, helpers and other crew members who worked behind the scenes, calling their efforts an essential part of every successful performance.

Khan also acknowledged writer Umera Ahmed for creating the drama’s script. He praised her writing for giving the story depth and meaning.

While Aap Ki Izzat has now concluded, Khan will soon return to television screens in a familiar role. HUM TV is set to rebroadcast his period drama Aangan.

Directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, Aangan is based on Khadija Mastoor’s 1962 novel. The drama originally aired in 2018 and features Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Ali and Sonya Hussyn alongside Ahsan Khan.
