Mukaty’s sub-three-hour performance at one of the world’s most prestigious marathon events marks a proud moment for Pakistan and highlights his dedication, discipline and growing presence on the international running circuit.

Reflecting on his performance, Mukaty thanked Almighty Allah for helping him accomplish the feat, describing the New York race as an extremely challenging experience. He said he was the only Pakistani runner to finish this year’s event in under three hours.

“I am proud to have completed the 42.195-kilometre race in 2:53:42. It was one of the toughest races of the world, but achieving a sub-three-hour finish is a special moment for me and my country Pakistan,” he said.

He revealed that he was pursuing the ambitious goal of completing all six of the major international marathons he had set out to run, with only one remaining. “I am especially grateful to ACTIVIT CEO Rd. Rizwan Aftab Ahmed for his 360-degree support and motivation in all international marathon endeavours.

“Their encouragement has helped me remain focused on my goal. I am hopeful that, with the prayers and support of my family, well-wishers and ACTIVIT, I will complete the remaining marathon. It would be a great honour for me and my country,” Mukaty added.
