The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video although its official title Bipasha’s character details, and release date have not yet been announced.

The project also features Sunny Kaushal and Vishal Jethwa in significant roles. The story has been written by Kashyap Kapoor and Raghu Raj Kakkar while Prabhleen Sandhu is producing the series under her banner, Almaty Motion Pictures.

The upcoming crime drama is set in an apparently unremarkable town that could emerge as a major heroin trafficking hub across the continent. The storyline explores crime corruption and the challenges faced by individuals attempting to uphold their principles in a system influenced by powerful interests.

Sunny Kaushal plays a police officer determined to remain honest while confronting influential figures both within and outside the system. His character must navigate difficult circumstances that test his humanity, integrity, and moral convictions.

Details about Bipasha Basu’s role and Vishal Jethwa’s character remain under wraps. The makers have yet to reveal how their characters will influence the central storyline.

Bipasha largely stepped away from acting after marrying actor Karan Singh Grover in April 2016, choosing to focus more on her personal and family life. The couple welcomed their daughter, Devi in November 2022.

The actress previously appeared alongside her husband in the crime thriller web series Dangerous which was released in 2020. Her last full theatrical film release was Alone directed by Bhushan Patel and released in January 2015. In the horror film Bipasha portrayed twin sisters Sanjana and Anjana with Karan Singh Grover also starring in the project.

Her return to filming marks a notable development in her acting career after an extended period away from regular screen appearances.
