Lisa received the Moon Person on September 27 for “Dream,” which features Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. The song appears on her debut solo album Alter Ego and competed against major pop names including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo.
Following the announcement, some social media users questioned the result, pointing to the song’s relatively modest performance on major US charts. “Dream” did not appear on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 122 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
