A man’s bullet-riddled body has been found inside a car near Sea View Do Darya in Karachi, police said.

A man’s bullet-riddled body has been found inside a car near Sea View Do Darya in Karachi, police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Mehroz Ali said the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Police recovered the victim’s mobile phone from the car but no weapon was found at the scene.

According to police, the deceased was a resident of North Nazimabad and was associated with the property business. The victim’s son told police that his father was scheduled to go to Clifton on the day of the incident.

Police said there were no visible bullet marks on the exterior of the vehicle raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

A crime scene investigation team collected evidence from the location while further investigations are underway to determine how the incident occurred and identify those responsible.

The victim’s body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem examination as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police have not yet disclosed further details about the motive behind the killing or identified any suspects.
