Cardi B gives fans a glimpse of her multimillion-dollar handbag collection

Cardi B has once again given fans a glimpse into her extravagant fashion world by showcasing an impressive collection of rare designer handbags.

The Grammy-winning rapper recently showed off several luxury pieces from fashion houses including Chanel, Hermès and Bottega Veneta. The collection is estimated to be worth more than $2 million, with some of the bags carrying exceptionally high price tags on the resale market.

Among the standout pieces was a Chanel Métiers d’Art Maxi Flap Bag featuring a striking yellow, black and red design with gold-tone hardware. The bag reportedly costs around $8,500. Cardi revealed that she had purchased a matching outfit months earlier and waited to complete the look with the bag.

She also owns a Chanel pony-hair cheetah-print flap bag. The beige and black design is finished with a gold chain strap and has been estimated to be worth between $15,955 and $20,000.

Another eye-catching addition is a forest-green tweed Large Campana shoulder bag from Bottega Veneta. Cardi reportedly purchased the bag during a trip to Paris, with its estimated value standing at around $6,700.

Her Hermès collection includes several particularly rare pieces. Among them is a Hermès Birkin Cargo, which can reportedly fetch between $65,000 and $80,000 on the resale market.

Cardi also showed off a pink alligator Mini Kelly. The luxury piece is estimated to be worth up to $35,000. She explained that she already owned the larger version and wanted the miniature design to add to her collection.

A bright green alligator Hermès Kelly was another highlight, with an estimated value of around $44,100. Her collection also includes a grey Hermès bag with suede detailing.

One of the rarest pieces is reportedly a John Paul Gaultier x Hermès Birkin. Only 10 were produced, making the forest-green crocodile bag especially valuable. Its estimated worth is around $120,000.

Other pieces in Cardi’s collection include a Chanel Superman quilted vanity purse and a burgundy quilted purse featuring a giraffe charm.

The rapper has previously defended her love for Birkin bags after facing criticism over her collection. In 2020, she responded to claims that the growing popularity of Birkin bags among Black rappers had made them less exclusive.
