Actress Chase Sui Wonders could be adding another major project to her growing film career, with reports suggesting she is being considered for a role in A24’s upcoming comedy Goblin.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wonders is in talks to join the film, which will be directed by David Mikalson. While details about the plot remain under wraps, the project is expected to be a raunchy comedy.
The film has already attracted a notable cast. Kenneth Branagh is set to voice the titular goblin, while actors Skyler Gisondo and Will Forte are also attached to the project.
Wonders’ potential involvement comes as her career continues to gain momentum across television and film. The actress has previously spoken about her love for comedy and her admiration for the genre’s distinctive style.
Ahead of the first season of The Studio last year, Wonders discussed how Seth Rogen’s films influenced her appreciation for comedy. She recalled watching Pineapple Express while growing up and said it shaped her expectations of adult life.
She also praised the 2013 comedy This Is the End, describing it as the last great American comedy.
Wonders gained further recognition through the Emmy-winning series The Studio, in which she plays Quinn Hackett, an assistant who rises to an executive position. She is expected to reprise the role in the show’s second season next year.
Reflecting on her experience with the series, Wonders previously said the creative team allowed her to embrace an unconventional side of her personality. She described the experience as liberating and expressed her desire to continue working on comedy projects.
Beyond Goblin, the actress has several projects in the pipeline. She is set to appear in A24’s Slayground, directed by Jeremy Saulnier, which is scheduled for release on January 29, 2027.
Wonders is also filming Naughty, a holiday comedy directed by Olivia Wilde. The film stars Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage alongside other cast members.
If she joins Goblin, the project would add another comedy to Wonders’ expanding slate as she continues to build her presence in Hollywood.
