Clavicular charged over alleged rape of 17-year-old girl

Social media influencer Clavicular has been charged with allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl who told police she became heavily intoxicated at his family’s home on Cape Cod after being invited to appear in his livestream videos.

Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, 20, faces charges of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to someone under the age of 21. The charges were filed in Massachusetts on September 8.

Peters is scheduled to appear in state court in Orleans, Massachusetts, on October 14 for his arraignment.

According to the criminal complaint, the teenager contacted police in Chatham on June 4 to report the alleged incident. Her name has been withheld from the court documents.

The girl told investigators that she initially connected with Peters through Instagram. She later agreed to appear in videos he created about the online “looksmaxxing” trend and was reportedly paid for taking part.

After communicating for about a week, Peters allegedly arranged an Uber for her to travel to his family’s home in Chatham on May 23, 2025.

The teenager told police that Peters knew she was 17 at the time. She alleged that he instructed her to tell viewers during a livestream that she was 18.

She also claimed that Peters gave her vodka and told her to say that the drink was water.

According to the police report, the girl said she became increasingly intoxicated during the evening. Investigators later reviewed footage from Peters’ livestream, where she could reportedly be heard saying, “wait I’m so drunk.”

The police report states that the two kissed during the livestream.

The teenager later told investigators that she fell asleep in Peters’ bed. She alleged that she woke up the following morning to Peters having sex with her without her consent.

The allegations have not been proven in court, and Peters has not been convicted of the charges.

Peters’ spokesperson, Mitchell Jackson, disputed the circumstances surrounding the criminal complaint. Jackson said the accuser had previously filed a lawsuit against Peters.

According to Jackson, the accuser and her attorney contacted police after Peters sought to have the civil case dismissed and allegedly refused to make a financial payment.

The criminal case comes as Peters continues to attract attention online as a prominent figure associated with the “looksmaxxing” community.

Looksmaxxing refers to an online subculture focused on improving physical appearance through grooming, fitness, cosmetic procedures and other methods. Peters has built a following on platforms including TikTok through content focused on changing facial appearance.

He has also been associated with a controversial practice involving deliberately breaking facial bones with a hammer in an attempt to alter their appearance. Medical professionals have warned against such methods, citing the risk of serious injuries and complications.

The allegations now facing Peters have added further attention to his online activities and public profile.

The criminal complaint details the teenager’s account of what allegedly happened at Peters’ family home in May 2025. The charges will now proceed through the Massachusetts court system.

Peters is expected to be formally arraigned in Orleans on October 14, when the allegations against him will be addressed in court.

The case remains ongoing, and Peters is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
