FIA detains deportees from Turkey, Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia over illegal travel charges

_Passports and phones seized, probe into agents and facilitators underway_  

*Islamabad* The *Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone* has detained several individuals who were deported or arrived from different countries on charges of *illegal travel, overstay and begging*.

According to an official FIA letter, investigations revealed that *six of the individuals were deported from Turkey* on allegations of *attempting to travel to Europe illegally*.

The remaining persons arrived from *Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia* and are facing charges including *illegal entry, visa overstay, begging and other offenses*.

*Documents Seized, Probe Launched*

FIA officials said the *passports, travel documents and mobile phones* of all accused have been taken into custody for forensic examination and further investigation.

The agency will also investigate whether any *agent or facilitator* helped these individuals travel abroad through illegal channels. The FIA stated that *legal action will be taken against anyone found involved* in human smuggling under the law.

The FIA Islamabad Zone reiterated its commitment to continue *crackdowns against human smuggling and illegal overseas travel* without interruption.

Officials said such operations aim to dismantle networks that exploit citizens and endanger lives through dangerous and illegal routes to Europe and other countries.
