According to international media reports, Olivia was undergoing a cosmetic procedure at a private beauty clinic in Helsinki when her condition suddenly deteriorated after she was administered anesthesia. She reportedly failed to regain consciousness prompting staff to transfer her to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts doctors were unable to save her life and later confirmed her death.

Olivia’s parents, Reijo Oras and Johanna Oras have also confirmed their daughter’s death. According to them, Olivia was taken to hospital after being given anesthesia during the procedure, where she eventually passed away.

Her parents have raised concerns that a serious mistake may have occurred at the beauty clinic during the cosmetic procedure, potentially contributing to the deterioration of her condition. However, no negligence or wrongdoing has been conclusively established and the exact circumstances of her death are expected to become clearer after the investigation.

Helsinki police reportedly received a formal request to investigate the incident three days after Olivia’s death. Authorities have launched an inquiry into various aspects of the case, including the possibility of criminal negligence. Police officials have stressed that the investigation is still in its early stages.

Olivia entered the social media world at a young age. She began sharing content on Instagram when she was just 14 and her popularity quickly grew attracting thousands of followers.

Her rising fame also led to the release of a documentary titled The Perfect Selfie in 2016. The film explored her life and relationship with social media, further increasing her public profile and establishing her as a notable Finnish social media personality.

Olivia later closed her social media account and moved to Amsterdam in 2017. After returning to Finland, she went through a difficult period in her life, reportedly struggling with severe mental health challenges sleeping pills and alcohol addiction.

She eventually sought professional treatment and worked to rebuild her life through recovery. Her sudden death has brought renewed attention not only to the risks associated with cosmetic procedures but also to the less visible struggles behind the life of a young social media personality.
