Four terrorists killed in Kurram operation

Security forces have killed four terrorists, including Afghan national Kharji Ubaidullah Saad, during a successful intelligence-based operation in Kurram district, according to security sources.

The operation was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of militants in the area. Security personnel conducted the operation and engaged the suspected terrorists, resulting in the deaths of four militants.

According to sources, Ubaidullah Saad was a resident of Shah Qila village in Afghanistan’s Logar province. He was affiliated with the proscribed Fitna al-Khawarij and was allegedly involved in several terrorist activities in Pakistan.

Sources said Saad had played a role in multiple militant operations carried out inside Pakistan. His involvement reportedly made him a wanted figure for security authorities.

The identities and affiliations of the other three militants killed during the operation were not immediately disclosed.

Security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations against militant groups in different parts of the country. Officials have repeatedly stated that such operations will continue to prevent terrorist networks from carrying out attacks and to protect civilians and security personnel.

The latest operation in Kurram comes amid continued security concerns along Pakistan’s western border, particularly regarding the movement and activities of militants with links to Afghanistan.
