According to reports, the 43-year-old actress originally purchased the property in 2014 for ₹3.20 crore. The apartment has now been sold for ₹6.01 crore representing an increase of approximately 88 percent in its value.

Based on the reported purchase and sale prices Gauahar Khan’s property gained around ₹2.81 crore in value. However, this figure represents the difference between the two prices and does not account for expenses such as taxes registration charges maintenance costs or other transaction-related fees.

The duplex apartment has a built-up area of 2,340 square feet. Property documents reportedly do not mention any car parking space as part of the transaction. The buyers paid ₹36.06 lakh in stamp duty for the deal.

Mumbai’s real estate market attracts celebrities

Versova and nearby Mumbai neighbourhoods including Juhu Lokhandwala and Bandra have witnessed several property transactions involving celebrities from the film and television industries in recent years.

Actor Randeep Hooda reportedly purchased a 1,530-square-foot apartment in the Bianca Cooperative Housing Society in Versova last year for ₹5.63 crore.

In another major transaction Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with members of their family reportedly purchased multiple apartments at Godrej Sky Shore in Versova in July 2026. The combined value of these properties was reported to exceed ₹43 crore.

These high-value transactions reflect the continued interest of prominent personalities in Mumbai’s residential property market. Well-connected neighbourhoods such as Versova offer access to the city’s entertainment industry while attracting buyers seeking premium homes.

Gauahar Khan’s latest property deal has drawn attention not only because of its substantial sale price but also because of the increase in the apartment’s reported market value. The transaction adds another notable celebrity real estate deal to Mumbai’s growing list of high-value property sales.
