Gold price soars to Rs. 278,300 silver steady

The price of 24 karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,300 reaching Rs. 278,300 on Thursday compared to Rs. 277,000 the day before according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Similarly the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw an increase of Rs. 1,114 climbing to Rs. 238,597 from Rs. 237,483 while 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a rise reaching Rs. 218,714 from Rs. 217,693.

Meanwhile the prices for both per tola and 10 gram silver remained unchanged at Rs. 3,350 and Rs. 2,872.08 respectively.

In the international market gold prices rose by $13 increasing to $2,665 from $2,652 as reported by the Association.
