Gold prices rise locally and globally

The price of 24 karat gold per tola saw an increase of Rs. 1,000 reaching Rs. 277,000 on Wednesday as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. This was a rise from the previous day’s price of Rs. 276,000.

Additionally the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold surged by Rs. 858 moving from Rs. 236,625 to Rs. 237,483. The price of 10 gram 22 karat gold also rose climbing to Rs. 217,693 from Rs. 216,907.

Meanwhile the prices of silver remained stable with per tola silver staying at Rs. 3,350 and the 10 gram rate at Rs. 2,872.08.

In the global market gold prices increased by $10 rising from $2,642 to $2,652 according to the Association.
