For those unaware, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, had only recently started the new school year in Britain.

However, it was reported this week that the Sussexes’ children will be enrolling at a new school.

According to a recent report by Hello! magazine, the decision was reportedly prompted by heavy traffic and the long distance involved, which put additional pressure on the couple’s security team.

Some fans were not impressed with Harry and Meghan’s latest decision.

“Wait, so let me get this straight. The ‘security risk’ is that they might have to sit in traffic like ordinary private citizens? THAT is the threat we are talking about?” one person wrote on X.

Another commented, “They need security so someone can clear the roads, get them through traffic lights and make sure they [get to school safely].”

Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “Never have to wait in traffic like everyone else? Because apparently being stuck at a red light is now a national security concern.”

“At this rate, the next thing RAVEC will have to assess is whether the queue at the school gates poses an unacceptable threat to them,” a third person wrote.

Another added, “This is just silly. They do not need a convoy to take the kids to/from school.”
