Jim Carrey and Min Ah begin married life

Jim Carrey and Min Ah have taken their relationship to the next level, with the couple reportedly tying the knot just seven months after making their red-carpet debut.

A representative for the 64-year-old Bruce Almighty star confirmed on Wednesday, September 30, that Carrey has married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah. The news marks a major milestone for the couple, who have largely kept their relationship away from the spotlight.

Their romance became public earlier this year when the pair made their red-carpet debut at the César Awards in France. During the ceremony, Carrey spoke warmly about Min Ah while delivering part of his speech in French.

The actor affectionately referred to her as his “sublime companion” as he thanked his family and celebrated the people who have supported him throughout his life.

“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah,” Carrey said during his speech.

He then directly expressed his affection for Min Ah, adding that he loved her before turning his attention to his late father, Percy Joseph Carrey. The actor credited his father with teaching him important lessons about love, generosity and laughter.
