Addressing the meeting, Governor Kundi welcomed the council members and expressed hope that they would perform their responsibilities with dedication commitment and sincerity within their respective institutions.
The governor also highlighted the need to strengthen the operational capabilities of the provincial police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) to improve efforts against terrorism. He underscored the importance of coordinated action and institutional effectiveness in addressing security challenges facing the province.
Beyond security concerns, Kundi said his administration would work to improve transparency across key sectors including education, healthcare and the justice system. He emphasized that better governance and accountability were essential to improving public services and building citizens’ trust in government institutions.
