Lebanon Interior Minister arrives in Pakistan for two-day visit

Lebanon’s Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry received the Lebanese minister at Islamabad International Airport. Islamabad Chief Commissioner and Inspector General of Police were also present to welcome the visiting dignitary.

During his stay, Al-Hajjar will hold important meetings with Pakistan’s political and government leadership. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon in areas of mutual interest.

The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on matters concerning regional developments, security cooperation and other issues of common interest. The two countries are also likely to explore ways to enhance coordination between their relevant institutions.

Al-Hajjar’s visit comes as Pakistan and Lebanon seek to further strengthen their longstanding ties through greater engagement and cooperation. His meetings with Pakistani officials will provide a platform to discuss areas where both countries can work together more closely.

The Lebanese interior minister will remain in Pakistan for two days and is scheduled to hold a series of high-level engagements during his official visit.
