- The legal team warned that if either detainee suffers harm or their detention is deliberately prolonged without lawful justification they would consider legal action against the officials responsible.

According to the legal team Hadi has developed high blood pressure and diabetes while in custody and is allegedly not receiving adequate medical care. His lawyers and family members have repeatedly requested details about the medicines being administered to him but they claim that prison authorities have not provided the requested information.
The development comes after a hearing on the bail applications of Imaan and Hadi was scheduled before an Anti-Terrorism Court on October 5. However, the investigating officer did not appear before the court while the prosecution also failed to produce the case record. As a result the hearing was adjourned until October 13.
The legal team described the repeated delays as more than a procedural or administrative issue alleging that they were effectively prolonging the detention of both individuals.
The lawyers also expressed concern that even if the court grants relief on October 13 authorities could attempt to arrest either individual in another case or on another pretext.
They further stated that the government would be responsible for the safety and treatment of Imaan and Hadi while they remain in custody. The legal team warned that if either detainee suffers harm or their detention is deliberately prolonged without lawful justification they would consider legal action against the officials responsible.
The case has drawn attention to questions surrounding detainees’ access to medical treatment timely judicial proceedings and the handling of bail applications in terrorism-related cases.
