According to the notification, the sale price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been reduced by up to $6.95 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).
For the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system, the LNG price has been cut by $6.81 per MMBtu. The new price has been fixed at $19.03 per MMBtu.
Previously, LNG for the Sui Northern system was priced at $25.83 per MMBtu.
Meanwhile, the LNG price for the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system has been reduced by $6.95 per MMBtu. The new price has been set at $18.13 per MMBtu.
The previous LNG price for the Sui Southern system stood at $25.08 per MMBtu.
The latest reductions are expected to lower the cost of LNG supplied through both major gas distribution systems in the country.
