Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet reveals his favorite part of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

Eric Stonestreet is opening up about one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year, and the Modern Family star says the best part of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s special day had nothing to do with the glamorous venue or star-studded guest list.

During a recent interview, Stonestreet, who attended the wedding with his wife, Lindsay Schweitzer, reflected on the unforgettable celebration and shared the memory that has stayed with him the most. According to the actor, the greatest part of the wedding was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the newlyweds, making every guest feel appreciated and comfortable despite the event’s enormous scale. 

The Emmy-winning actor described the wedding as “awesome” and praised Swift and Kelce for creating a celebration that felt surprisingly personal. Although the guest list featured celebrities from the worlds of music, sports, television and entertainment, Stonestreet said the evening was focused on love rather than fame. He noted that the couple managed to give everyone a sense of normalcy while celebrating one of the biggest moments of their lives. 

Stonestreet also admitted that when the invitation first arrived, he and his wife initially believed it was fake. Like several other guests, they wondered whether the invitation was a scam because of how unexpected it seemed. After confirming it was genuine, the couple happily accepted and attended what Stonestreet later described as an unforgettable experience. 

As a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, Stonestreet has known Travis Kelce for years and has long admired the NFL star’s character. He has also met Taylor Swift on previous occasions, making the invitation even more meaningful. Seeing the couple begin their married life surrounded by family and close friends was, he said, genuinely heartwarming. 

Beyond the celebration itself, Stonestreet applauded the couple’s generosity, highlighting their charitable donations to several organizations across the United States. He believes their kindness reflected the same welcoming spirit guests experienced throughout the wedding, adding another layer of admiration for the newlyweds.
