Sources speaking to Fox News Digital claimed that Harry continues to long for his old life back in Britain even as he adjusts to California living. Dan Wakeford, who founded the celebrity newsletter Celebrity Intelligence, was among those making the claim, stating that Harry “particularly does not love the life he has in America.”
According to Wakeford, Harry misses his family, his old friends, and the life he once had in the UK. The insider went further, suggesting the Duke would actually prefer a quieter, scaled-down lifestyle rather than the more lavish one he currently leads, adding that the grander lifestyle seems to align more with Meghan’s preferences than his own.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams echoed similar sentiments, pointing out that Harry currently lacks a clearly defined role. “The problem is that Harry is without a proper role. He has the Invictus Games, yes, but I do think he misses aspects of life in the U.K. and the friends he has kept there,” Fitzwilliams said.
He also noted that Harry maintains charitable ties in Britain and that his mother, Princess Diana, is buried there. Despite a reportedly rocky visit at one point, Fitzwilliams described Harry’s meeting with King Charles and other royal family members as a positive moment overall.
Still, Fitzwilliams was quick to shut down any suggestion of trouble in Harry and Meghan’s marriage. “I think it is important to make the point that Harry’s marriage is a happy one,” he said.
When approached for comment, Archewell dismissed the reports outright, telling Fox News Digital, “It is all unfounded speculation, of which we do not comment.”
