Mohsin Gilani claims a jinn has stayed with him for 12 years

Pakistani television and radio actor and producer Syed Mohsin Gilani has made a series of unusual claims about his experiences with jinns, saying that he considers himself the “king of jinns” and that a jinn named Najeeb has allegedly remained with him for the past 12 years.

The actor, who hails from Multan, recently spoke about his alleged experiences with jinns during a podcast appearance. While discussing supernatural beliefs and his personal understanding of the subject, Gilani claimed that a jinn is currently accompanying him and has been connected to him since the death of his father.

“If we talk about jinns, I am the king of jinns,” Gilani said during the conversation, adding that the jinn accompanying him is named Najeeb. According to the actor, Najeeb has remained with him for around 12 years following his father’s death.

Gilani further claimed that his ancestors also had connections with jinns. He suggested that people who possess knowledge of the Quran are aware of individuals who have jinns associated with them. He also claimed that such connections can sometimes be passed down from one generation to another.

The actor said that there are many misconceptions about jinns among people and argued that they should not automatically be viewed as dangerous or frightening beings. According to him, jinns are also creations of Allah and, like humans, can belong to different religious sects.

Gilani claimed that jinns generally do not harm human beings but may instead make their presence known. He also suggested that they can interact with children and even play with them. He further stated that jinns are afraid of humans and described human beings as a superior creation.

Addressing another commonly discussed belief, Gilani claimed that humans cannot simply command jinns to do whatever they want. He said that jinns are not obligated to serve humans according to their wishes.

He also shared an unusual belief about jinns and sweets, claiming that they particularly enjoy mithai. According to Gilani, sweet sellers in the past were supposedly aware of jinns visiting their shops to purchase sweets.

During the podcast, Gilani also brought actor Ahsan Khan into the discussion. He claimed that Khan could personally verify one of his alleged experiences involving a jinn. Gilani said that Khan had once expressed a desire to meet a particular person, after which he allegedly arranged for Khan to meet that individual at the shrine of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya in Multan at around 2am.

Alongside his claims about jinns, Gilani also spoke about spiritual practices and the perceived benefits of Quranic recitation. He described Surah Rahman as an extremely powerful form of Islamic spiritual guidance and said that many people have shared experiences of finding healing through its recitation.

The actor added that one of his fellow artists had also recently spoken about experiencing healing after listening to or reciting Surah Rahman.

Gilani advised people dealing with health-related difficulties to listen to and recite Surah Rahman. However, he emphasized that people should not limit themselves to listening to the Arabic recitation and should also read or listen to its translation to understand its meaning.

He also encouraged Muslims to recite Surah Fatiha, describing both Surah Rahman and Surah Fatiha as two great blessings given by Allah to Muslims.

Gilani’s comments have drawn attention because of his personal claims about supernatural experiences, his beliefs regarding jinns and his emphasis on Quranic recitation as part of spiritual practice.
