Mohsin Naqvi, FBI chief boost security ties in Washington

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with FBI Director Kash Patel at the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Washington.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the United States in security-related matters.

Both sides discussed ways to improve collaboration in cyber investigations and enhance the capacity to deal with cyber threats.

The officials also discussed the availability of resources and specialised training for cyber investigations inside Pakistan and abroad.

During the meeting, FBI Director Kash Patel welcomed the visit of Pakistan’s Interior Minister and said it was an honour to host him at the FBI headquarters.

Patel appreciated Mohsin Naqvi’s cooperation in protecting US interests in the region and highlighted the importance of continued coordination between the two sides.

He said the partnership between the FBI and Pakistan plays a significant role in addressing shared security challenges.

Patel expressed confidence that both countries would continue working together and achieve further successes through stronger cooperation.
