The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase of 34 paisa per unit in electricity tariffs for consumers across Pakistan.
NEPRA issued an official notification regarding the price adjustment. The increase has been approved under the monthly fuel price adjustment mechanism for May 2026.
The authority said the additional charges will be included in the electricity bills issued during July 2026. The adjustment will also apply to consumers of K-Electric.
