Speaking at a ceremony, the minister emphasized the government’s commitment to preparing Pakistan’s workforce for the rapidly evolving digital economy. She noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had pledged to provide AI-related training to one million people, and efforts are now underway to achieve that target over the next three years. According to her, the program will focus particularly on non-technical individuals, enabling them to acquire practical AI skills and improve their employment prospects.
