Pakistan team arrives in Birmingham for third Test

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan’s cricket team has arrived in Birmingham as preparations begin for the third and final Test against England, with the visitors hoping to bounce back after a difficult series.

The third Test between Pakistan and England will be played at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on September 9.

The national squad reached Birmingham on Thursday and will now turn its attention to preparations for the crucial encounter. Abdullah Fazal, Arafat Minhas and Imran Randhawa have also joined the Pakistan squad.

The team is scheduled to hold its first training session at Edgbaston on Friday, September 4. The practice session will begin at 9:30am, giving players an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the conditions and pitch ahead of the Test.

Pakistan will be looking to make the most of the remaining days before the match as the team management considers its combinations and plans for the final Test.

The series has been a challenging one for Pakistan, with the team coming under scrutiny following a string of disappointing results and major changes to the coaching setup.

The Pakistan Cricket Board recently made significant changes to the Test team management, including handing charge to white-ball head coach Mike Hesson for the third Test.
