ISLAMABAD: The government has once again increased the prices of petrol and diesel, adding further pressure on consumers already facing higher transportation and fuel costs.
According to a notification issued by the authorities, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs2.84 per litre. Following the increase, petrol will now be available at Rs349 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been raised. Diesel has become Rs2.28 per litre more expensive, taking its new price to Rs374.31 per litre.
The revised rates will come into effect after midnight and will be applicable from September 4.
