PFF appoints Adeel Rizki as Technical Director

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has appointed Adeel Rizki as its new Technical Director. Rizki will officially assume his new role on July 1, 2026.

He previously served as the head coach of the Pakistan women’s national football team and most recently worked as an assistant to Norberto Solano with the Pakistan men’s national team’s coaching staff, where Pakistan achieved a historic triumph at the Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament in the Maldives.

A UEFA A License holder, Rizki will become the PFF’s first Technical Director since 2019. In his new position, he will lead Pakistan’s national football development program, overseeing long-term strategies for grassroots football, women’s football, youth development, and coach education, with the aim of creating an integrated pathway for the sport’s growth.

He will also advise the PFF Executive Committee on technical and coaching matters. PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani described Rizki’s appointment as another important step in the federation’s efforts to develop football in Pakistan.

“Technical development is one of the most important areas for any football federation, and the Technical Director plays a vital role in shaping and leading the country’s football development program,” Gilani said.

He added, “With Adeel’s appointment, we are entering a new phase of football development in Pakistan, and I am confident we will make meaningful progress toward achieving our goals.”

Gilani also confirmed that Mr. Rizki who is currently a member of the PFF Congress, will step down from his Congress position after assuming the role of Technical Director.
