LAHORE: A graduation ceremony was organized on Monday to celebrate the successful completion of post-induction training by officers of the 14th batch of the Provincial Management Service (PMS). The event took place at the Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) and marked an important milestone in the professional development of the newly inducted civil servants.

The ceremony was attended by Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, who participated as the chief guest. The event was organized by the Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD) to recognize the officers’ successful completion of the intensive training programme, which is designed to prepare them for key administrative responsibilities within the provincial government.

Upon the Chief Secretary’s arrival, Secretary MPDD Iqbal Hussain welcomed him and thanked both the Chief Secretary and the Additional Chief Secretary for attending the ceremony. He appreciated their continued support for capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening Punjab’s civil service and enhancing the professional capabilities of government officers.

During the ceremony, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman distributed graduation certificates among the officers, congratulating each participant on successfully completing the post-induction training programme. He praised the officers for their commitment, discipline, and dedication throughout the training period and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public service in their future assignments.

A number of senior government officials also attended the event, including the Secretary Law, the Additional Secretary MPDD, and other senior members of the provincial administration. Their presence highlighted the government’s commitment to investing in the professional development of civil servants and ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to effectively serve the people of Punjab.

Speaking at the ceremony, the dignitaries congratulated the graduating officers on reaching an important stage in their careers.
