According to the victim’s family, the incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. when eight armed robbers, arriving on four motorcycles, entered the house. The suspects reportedly overpowered the security guard before holding family members hostage. During the robbery, the intruders searched the house and collected cash, jewelry, prize bonds, mobile phones, and other valuable belongings before fleeing the scene.

The First Information Report (FIR) provides details of the stolen property, stating that the robbers took approximately 170 to 200 tolas of gold and 250 to 300 tolas of silver, along with Rs2.5 million in cash, prize bonds, mobile phones, and other expensive items. Based on the reported value of the stolen assets, the total financial loss is estimated to exceed Rs10 crore.

Police officers reached the crime scene soon after receiving information about the incident. Investigators collected physical evidence and recorded statements from the victims as part of the initial inquiry. Law enforcement officials have also begun a search operation to trace the suspects involved in the robbery.

As part of the investigation, police are conducting geo-fencing in the surrounding area to identify mobile phone activity that may help track the suspects’ movements before and after the crime. Investigators are also collecting footage from nearby CCTV cameras to establish the escape route and identify the motorcycles or individuals involved.

The robbery has raised concerns about residential security in the Gadap area, particularly during late-night hours. Security experts often emphasize the importance of surveillance systems, neighborhood coordination, and rapid police response to help deter organized criminal activity.

Authorities have assured the affected family that all available investigative resources are being utilized to solve the case. Police officials say forensic evidence, digital data, and CCTV recordings will play a key role in identifying the suspects and recovering the stolen property.
