Sonakshi Sinha politely asks paparazzi to respect her privacy

The Bollywood actress attended the wedding reception of Akansha Ranjan and filmmaker Sharan Sharma in Mumbai on Sunday, where she arrived in a stylish outfit that quickly caught the attention of photographers and fans.

Videos from the event soon spread across social media, but one particular clip became the talking point. As Sonakshi prepared to leave the venue, photographers continued filming her while she stood beside her vehicle. Instead of reacting with frustration, she patiently waited outside the car and politely asked them to stop recording.

Addressing the photographers with a smile, she said, “Enough, guys. Please don’t film inside the car anymore. That’s enough. Thank you. Bye. Good night.”

When the cameras continued rolling, Sonakshi made her position clear, saying she would not get into the vehicle until the photographers stepped back. She remained composed while repeating her request, making it evident that she wanted her personal space to be respected.

Once the paparazzi stopped filming and moved away, the actress thanked them before getting into her car. The interaction quickly went viral, with many social media users praising her calm approach and the respectful way she established boundaries without creating unnecessary drama.

The incident came just days after another public interaction involving Sonakshi and photographers. During a family outing, she reportedly requested paparazzi to make room for her parents, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, after they were surrounded by cameras while trying to enter their vehicle. Her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, was also present during the outing.

On the professional front, Sonakshi is preparing to return as SI Anjali Bhaati, also known as Meghwal, in the second season of the crime thriller series Dahaad. The upcoming installment is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi and has been included in Amazon Prime Video’s 2026 content lineup.

While the streaming platform has confirmed the series as part of its upcoming slate, an official release date has not yet been announced. Fans are eagerly awaiting Sonakshi’s return to the acclaimed police procedural drama, where she is expected to reprise one of her most appreciated performances.
