According to local reports, Sardar Nasir Arbab, Secretary General of the Anjuman Tajran Arja, and his cousin Hussam were allegedly attacked near Jandala Cross after they arrived to help clear a blocked road for an ambulance transporting a deceased person. The road had reportedly been obstructed by felled trees, preventing vehicles, including emergency services, from passing.

The reports claim that approximately 20 to 25 masked men opened fire in the area. While no one was injured in the reported gunfire, the two men were allegedly stopped at gunpoint and subjected to physical assault. It is further alleged that they were forced onto the road toward Halan Bazaar before being taken away in a vehicle.

According to the allegations, the victims were transported to another location where they were reportedly assaulted for several hours. Local sources claim that Sardar Nasir Arbab lost consciousness due to the severity of his injuries and was later found abandoned near Halan Bazaar in critical condition. His cousin was also reportedly assaulted during the incident.

The motive behind the alleged attack has not been independently verified. Reports circulating locally claim the attackers accused the trader leader of supporting the local administration, although no official confirmation has been issued regarding these claims.
