Two Palestinians killed in Gaza

GAZA: Two Palestinians were killed and several others, including children, were injured in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, amid reported violations of a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital told Anadolu that the body of a Palestinian and several injured people, including children, arrived at the facility after an Israeli strike hit an apartment in the Al-Nasr neighbourhood west of Gaza City.

According to an Anadolu correspondent, the attack targeted an apartment in the Al-Batoul building, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others. Witnesses said an Israeli suicide drone hovered over the area before carrying out the strike.

The attack sparked panic among residents and triggered a fire inside the apartment, which was completely destroyed, witnesses said.

In central Gaza, Israeli forces shot and killed another Palestinian on Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah, according to a medical source.

The source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital identified the victim as Ahmed Abu Mur and said his body was brought to the hospital after he sustained gunfire from Israeli forces east of Deir al-Balah.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out a large-scale demolition operation targeting buildings in areas under their control east of Deir al-Balah, according to witnesses and local sources.

The reported incidents came amid continuing tensions and allegations of daily ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip.
