In a statement issued by the actress’s team it was alleged that the company used Urvashi Rautela’s identity and personal content without obtaining her consent. According to the team legal proceedings are being pursued in the matter, with the damages currently estimated at Rs70 billion.

The statement emphasized that a person’s name, image or likeness should not be used for commercial purposes without obtaining proper authorization. Urvashi Rautela’s team said the issue concerns protecting the actress’s identity and legal rights.

The development comes amid growing concerns over the use of artificial intelligence to create or modify content involving public figures. Questions surrounding the unauthorized use of people’s images, voices and identities have increasingly emerged as AI-generated content becomes more widespread.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has also previously expressed concerns about the misuse of AI-generated content. During a recent episode of “Bigg Boss 20,” he discussed the growing use of AI technology and the use of people’s images and voices without their permission.

Salman Khan said that creating videos and dubbing voices using AI without consent was wrong. He also remarked that the technology has advanced to such an extent that its use can feel frightening, describing the issue as a serious matter.
