US responds to Iran’s 7-Day war plan

The United States has responded to a seven-day proposal put forward by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, Iranian and regional sources said.

Araghchi and his delegation met Qatari mediators in Doha on Tuesday night, where they received Washington’s response to Tehran’s proposal. The Iranian foreign minister is expected to return to Iran and discuss the US response with senior officials, according to people familiar with the matter.

Araghchi had previously indicated that Iran could reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if Washington meets certain conditions. The strategically important waterway is a major route for global energy shipments, making any disruption there a significant concern for international markets.
