Actor Zara Noor Abbas has unveiled the official poster for Gear Up, her segment in the upcoming anthology film Sheroes, offering a first glimpse of her action-oriented role ahead of the teaser’s release on September 8.
In the poster shared on Instagram, Abbas appears in action gear, wearing gloves and holding a gun. She portrays a police officer in the film, marking a departure from some of her previous roles.
Describing Gear Up as a story of “courage under pressure,” Abbas said the poster was only the beginning and announced that the segment’s teaser will be released on September 8.
The trailer has already teased several action sequences, including high-speed car chases, a bomb-disposal operation and Abbas arriving at a police station on a motorcycle.
Sheroes brings together three standalone stories featuring three women in distinctly different worlds. The rollout of the individual segments began with Artist, starring Sanam Saeed Hashmi, while Mahira Shah’s segment is expected to be highlighted next.
The anthology film is scheduled to hit cinemas across Pakistan on September 18.
